Plant-soil-microbe interactions, mechanisms of plant coexistence and community diversity, plant nitrogen and phosphorus nutrition, plant competition, exotic invasive plant species, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, restoration, urban ecology, phytremediation, agroecology, microbial ecology of sustainable biofuel production
